On a tragic day in Sparta, Tennessee, 36-year-old Andrea Lee White, a White female, died on October 28, 2015, in what authorities determined to be a murder-suicide. The incident, which also resulted in the death of 35-year-old Jammie Meadows, unfolded at a residence on Eastland Road.
Emergency services were dispatched to the home to find a gruesome scene on the front porch, where both White and Meadows were discovered deceased and covered in blood. The White County Sheriff's Department, along with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the District Attorney General's office, immediately launched an investigation into the two deaths.
As investigators processed the scene and gathered evidence, they concluded that the deaths were the result of a murder-suicide. It is believed that Meadows was the perpetrator in White's death before taking his own life. Due to the nature of the incident, with the suspect also being deceased, there were no arrests made or any ensuing trial.
