In the Hillview Apartments in Memphis, Tennessee, on September 27, 2021, a heated argument erupted between neighbors that ended in the tragic death of 30-year-old Ashley Gillard. The dispute began when Eleesha Tolbert allegedly fired a 'warning shot' in an area where children were present. Gillard confronted Tolbert about the gunshot, leading to a physical altercation.
