William "Crazy Willie" Gantz, a 44-year-old male of Italian ethnicity, was murdered on May 16, 1994, in Philadelphia, PA. Gantz was a well-known associate of the Philadelphia crime family and served as the former driver and bodyguard to Philadelphia capo Joseph Sodano. His death was part of the violent internal conflicts within the Philadelphia crime family, which were particularly intense during the early 1990s.
