Chukwumah Terrell Okolie, a 32-year-old resident of Brooklyn Center, was fatally shot on August 29, 2013. The incident occurred at the intersection of 42nd Avenue North and Fremont in north Minneapolis. Okolie was found to have been shot multiple times.
Okolie was identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner following the incident. He was known to his community as 'Terry' and was a master barber at Nu Look barber shop in north Minneapolis.
