Cari L. Chapman, a 22-year-old woman from Pittston, Pennsylvania, tragically died on July 31, 2006, in Franklin Township, PA. She was shot multiple times by Patricia Leigh Stark, who was 23 years old at the time. Chapman was less than 16 weeks pregnant, and her death, along with that of her unborn child, was ruled a homicide by the Luzerne County Coroner’s Office.
