In the quiet of a Tuesday afternoon in Windham Township, Pennsylvania, the life of 14-year-old Destiny Skye Gross was tragically cut short. On June 10, 2025, the Towanda teen was fatally wounded by a shotgun blast to the chest. First responders were called to the scene around 12:13 p.m., and she was pronounced dead by 2:20 p.m. that same day.
Destiny, a former student of the Towanda Area School District, was remembered for her love of the outdoors, where she enjoyed hunting and fishing.
