On a Wednesday afternoon, while conversing with friends in Chester, Pennsylvania, 34-year-old Jermaine Jackson's life was abruptly cut short. It was around 4:30 p.m. on June 6, 2007, when a man approached the group, yelling for them to move before he began shooting. Jackson, a Black male, was struck in the chest and twice in the leg. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
