On a November evening in 2009, the life of 19-year-old Kaliym Drakkar Bowman was cut short by a burst of gunfire in a Chester, Pennsylvania park. An African American male from Newark, Delaware, and a former resident of Chester, Bowman was known affectionately as 'Leem' or 'Kemi' to his friends and family. He was a graduate of James Grove High School in Wilmington, Delaware, and worked as a contractor for Bowman's Construction.
