Alberto Hernandez, a 25-year-old Hispanic male from Philadelphia, was a young man whose life ended after a shooting in the city in March 2014. He was found on the 1400 block of Magee Street after police responded to the scene on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. What should have been an ordinary day became the beginning of a tragedy when officers discovered him lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound, critically injured and in need of immediate medical care.
