James Patrick Stuhlman, a 51-year-old man from Overbrook, Philadelphia, was tragically shot and killed on March 12, 2015, while walking his dog. Stuhlman, who was white, was known to take nightly walks with his dog, often accompanied by his daughter. On the night of his death, he chose to walk alone, which authorities believe may have saved his daughter's life.
