Thomas Edward Macri, a 56-year-old male of Caucasian ethnicity, tragically passed away on September 13, 2015, in Bessemer, Pennsylvania. Macri, who served as the Bessemer Borough Police Chief, accidentally shot himself while cleaning a .40-caliber pistol at his home. He was home alone at the time, and his girlfriend discovered him shortly after the incident occurred. Macri was promptly taken to Jameson Hospital, where he was pronounced dead an hour and a half later.
