Kirby Eugene Fogle, a 40-year-old male from York, Pennsylvania, tragically died on March 21, 2016. He was the owner of K.E. Fogle Remodeling and a 1993 graduate of Dallastown High School. Kirby was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a vehicle near the Lake Redman boat launch in Springfield Township. The York County Coroner's office confirmed his death, and police began investigating the incident.
The investigation revealed that Kirby died between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.
on the day of the incident. His family was notified, and the community mourned the loss of a beloved husband, father, and friend. Kirby is survived by his wife Christina Fogle, daughters Isabella and Lia Fogle, parents Tamara Fogle and Michael Fogle, and other family members.
Despite the tragic circumstances, no arrests or suspects were identified in connection with Kirby's death. The case was treated as a self-inflicted incident, and no further litigation or murder charges were pursued. The investigation concluded with the determination that Kirby's death was a result of suicide.
