Alsharay Ford, a 25-year-old African American man from Philadelphia, PA, tragically lost his life on July 28, 2016. Ford was driving his 3-year-old daughter home from daycare when he inadvertently drove into the middle of a shootout on Germantown Avenue. As he was handing the phone to his daughter so she could speak to her mother, a stray bullet struck him in the head. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Ford succumbed to his injuries the following day.
