Taymir Germany, a 17-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on October 29, 2016, in Chester, Pennsylvania. Taymir was a senior at A.I. duPont High School in Wilmington, Delaware, and was well-liked in his community. He was visiting friends in Chester when he was shot once in the torso and left alone in the woods near 11th and Palmer.
His body was discovered later that evening by someone passing through the area.
The circumstances surrounding Taymir's death remain unclear, and the investigation into his murder has not led to any arrests or suspects. Taymir's mother, Lamesha Germany, has been vocal about seeking justice for her son and has expressed frustration with the lack of information and progress from the Chester police.
