On June 30, 2024, at approximately 6:40 p.m., Chester Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire near East 24th and Crosby Streets in Chester, Pennsylvania. Upon arrival, they discovered 17-year-old Zaheem Sabree lying in the 100 block of East 24th Street, suffering from a gunshot wound to the left side of his head. Sabree was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
