In the early evening of June 30, 2024, tragedy struck the city of Chester, Pennsylvania, claiming the life of 17-year-old Zaheem Sabree. A male who was an honor student and a beloved member of the Chester High School football team, Sabree was looking forward to his senior year. Instead, he was found lying on the 100 block of East 24th Street with a fatal gunshot wound to his head. Police responded to reports of gunfire in the area around 6:40 p.m. and discovered the scene.
