Lonnie Sims, a 23-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on April 15, 2017, in Philadelphia, PA. Philadelphia Police Officers responded to a call at the 5900 block of Warrington Avenue, where they found Lonnie lying on the porch of a home. He had been shot multiple times in the head, torso, and leg. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Lonnie succumbed to his injuries that afternoon.
