Michael J. 'Milo' Mozzani, a 67-year-old man from Gap, Pennsylvania, died on June 5, 2017. He was found dead in his home by state police on May 30, 2017, the day he was supposed to begin serving an eight to sixteen-year prison sentence for sexually assaulting a young girl over several years. Mozzani had pleaded guilty to three counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and was on house arrest while awaiting the start of his sentence.
The victim, now in her 30s, reported the abuse in 2014, stating that Mozzani had forced her to perform oral sex on him each Saturday while his wife was at work. She was threatened with beatings if she ever revealed the abuse. The incidents occurred between 1993 and 1998 at two residences in Chester County. Mozzani was arrested in May 2016 and sentenced in May 2017.
There were no arrests, suspects, litigations, or murder investigations related to Mozzani's death, as he died by suicide before he could begin his prison term. His death was ruled a suicide by authorities.
