In the early morning hours of July 2, 2017, the life of 19-year-old Jeremiah Isaiah Jones of Turtle Creek was cut short on a desolate road in Wilkins Township, a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Jones, a Black / African American male and a former standout quarterback for Woodland Hills High School, was discovered lying in the middle of Lougeay Road with multiple gunshot wounds.
