Montrell Green, aged 24, was shot and killed on June 20, 2012, in Pittsburgh's Hill District. The incident took place late in the evening around 10:25 p.m. Pittsburgh police responded to a call reporting a shooting at the 2400 block of Bedford Avenue. Upon their arrival, officers found Montrell lying in a courtyard with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
