Corey Clark, a 23-year-old Black male from Penn Hills, was shot and killed on September 21, 2014, inside Cliff’s Bar and Grill in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood. He was sitting in a booth at the bar, near North Lang Avenue and Upland Street, on a Sunday night while patrons were watching a Steelers game. Around 10:00 to 10:20 p.m., a gunman entered the crowded bar with his face covered by a scarf or bandana and opened fire with what police described as a high-powered weapon.
