Elijah Laurence Paris, aged 21, was fatally shot on April 6, 2017, in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Police and paramedics responded to Swopes Street around 8:50 p.m. after receiving a report about gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, they found Paris lying in the street, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
