In the late summer of 2017, the life of 35-year-old Alberto Montanez, a Hispanic male, was tragically cut short in Allentown, Pennsylvania. On the night of Saturday, August 26th, Montanez was in the vicinity of the 700 block of North Eighth Street. It was there, under the cover of darkness, that an unknown assailant or assailants opened fire, striking Montanez.
