On January 25, 2016, 16-year-old Trequon D. Wade, a Black male from Allentown, PA, was tragically shot and killed in the 300 block of Ridge Avenue. The incident occurred around 9:33 p.m., and Wade was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest at 11:10 p.m. The Lehigh County Coroner ruled his death a homicide.
