In the early hours of March 3, 2020, a chance encounter on a street in Allentown, Pennsylvania, turned deadly for 18-year-old Elijaah Rodriguez. The young Hispanic male was walking in the 1200 block of Turner Street when he was targeted by three individuals in a red Dodge Durango. The occupants, later identified as Jamett A. Rivera, Nikolas Acevedo, and the driver, Acevedo-Solano, had spotted Rodriguez and planned to rob him of a gun he was known to carry.
