Chance Lamar Holmes, a 30-year-old male, became embroiled in an argument with his housemate, 42-year-old Travis Williams, over their living situation. The disagreement reportedly escalated after Williams asked Holmes to move out of the residence they shared in Swatara Township.
The confrontation turned violent when Holmes fatally shot Williams inside the house. When police responded to the scene, they found Williams deceased in a bedroom. Officers then encountered Holmes, who was armed. Shortly after being discovered by law enforcement, Holmes took his own life.
