Brian Shaw, a 25-year-old male police officer from New Kensington, Pennsylvania, tragically died on November 17, 2017. He was fatally shot while making a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Leishman Avenue. During the stop, the passenger of the vehicle fled on foot and opened fire on Officer Shaw as he pursued him. Despite wearing a vest, Shaw was fatally wounded in the chest during the foot pursuit.
