Death by Force

Hugh Certaine, a 27-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on November 22, 2017, in Philadelphia, PA. He was found lying on his back in the street at 68th and Greenway Avenue, having been shot multiple times. Despite being rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries that evening. Two other shooting victims, a 37-year-old Black male and a 26-year-old Black male, were also taken to the hospital for treatment.
