On a Saturday afternoon, November 25, 2017, the life of 24-year-old Lamont Darnell Carry of East Pittsburgh was tragically cut short. A Black / African American male, he was in the 1300 block of Wood Street in Wilkinsburg when he was shot multiple times. The shooting occurred at approximately 4:45 p.m. near the intersection with Singer Place. After being wounded, Carry fled to the 1300 block of Hays Street, where he collapsed.
