Both men were charged in connection with the shooting. The charges brought against them included first-degree murder, third-degree murder, aggravated assault, and conspiracy.
Following their arrests, both Angel Trinity-Vallejo and Zalex R. Ocasio-Guzman faced legal proceedings. Trinity-Vallejo was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison. Ocasio-Guzman was also found guilty on charges related to the murder and received a significant prison sentence for his role in the death of Danny Jimenez Martinez.
