Hill was present at the intersection of West Grand Boulevard and Second Street, a location known for its proximity to the Cloud 9 nightclub.
At approximately 2:00 a.m., Hill was engaged in promoting his own business interests, standing on the sidewalk and distributing flyers to passersby and club patrons.
While he was occupied with this task, unknown assailants targeted him. The circumstances quickly turned fatal as Hill was gunned down in front of the nightclub.
