Tyrese Smith, a 20-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on June 11, 2019, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was fatally shot at a graduation party held at an Airbnb rental property in the Hill District. The incident occurred late Tuesday night, and Tyrese was one of three victims in the triple shooting. The other victim, 17-year-old Alexus N. Chester, was shot on her birthday and succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. A third person was also wounded but survived.
