Romir Talley, a 24-year-old African American man from Pittsburgh, PA, tragically died on December 22, 2019. He was shot and killed by Wilkinsburg police officers during a foot chase. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the 900 block of Center Street in Wilkinsburg, after police responded to a call about a man threatening someone with a gun. Romir Talley was identified as the suspect and allegedly fired at the police, who then returned fire, resulting in his death.
