Walter E. Stewart Jr., a 29-year-old man from North Braddock, Pennsylvania, tragically lost his life on December 26, 2017, in a shooting incident at his home on Columbia Avenue in Swissvale. The incident also claimed the life of his 7-year-old son, Jo Lawrence Stewart. The shooting occurred around 4:30 p.m., and Walter was pronounced dead at the scene, while his son was found lying on top of him and later died at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.
