James W. Goodwine, a 21-year-old male from Pittsburgh, PA, tragically died on August 23, 2020, after being shot in the Hill District. Pittsburgh police officers responded to a Shotspotter alert around 3:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Elmore Street. Upon arrival, they found Goodwine with gunshot wounds to his chest and leg. He was immediately transported to UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh’s Uptown section, where he succumbed to his injuries less than an hour later. No other injuries were reported at the ...Read More
