Craig Steven Galford, a 56-year-old man from Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania, tragically died on December 1, 2020. According to reports, Galford accidentally shot himself at his residence in the 24800 block of Mackey Hill Road. State police at Meadville were called to the scene and determined that Galford had accidentally discharged a firearm, which fatally wounded him.
Crawford County Coroner Scott Schell pronounced him dead at the scene.
There were no arrests, suspects, litigations, or murder investigations related to Galford's death, as it was ruled an accident. The incident was a tragic accident, and no foul play was involved.
Galford is survived by his parents, John Galford and Charlotte Walton Majerik, his son Colby Galford, his grandson Carter Galford, and his siblings Carla Galford, Timothy Galford, Edward Majerik, and Elissa Vavpetic. He was predeceased by his son Steven Galford.
