In the cold of a January night in Pittsburgh, the life of 22-year-old Martell Good, a Black/African American male, was cut short by gunfire. On the evening of January 15, 2021, in the Crafton Heights neighborhood, Good was found outside a residence on Stratmore Street with a gunshot wound to his torso. First responders and an off-duty Pittsburgh Police detective who happened to be nearby rendered aid before he was rushed to a local hospital, but his injuries proved fatal.
