Robert Agurs, a 32-year-old male of African American ethnicity, was fatally shot on January 16, 2021, outside a Marathon gas station in Pittsburgh's Larimer neighborhood. Agurs was followed by three men as he left a Homewood club before making it to the gas station where he was killed. The prosecution stated that 15 shots were fired through the passenger window of a vehicle as Agurs walked.
