On January 25, 2017, Alfred Diggs, 21, was shot in Pittsburgh's Westwood neighborhood. Responding to reports of gunfire, authorities found Diggs with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Allegheny General Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains open.
