In the winter of 2021, the life of 27-year-old Dashawn Green-Brewster was tragically cut short. A native of Philadelphia, Green-Brewster was reported missing from the Johnstown, Pennsylvania area on January 19, 2021. The search for him ended in the grim discovery of his body two days later, on January 21, in a grassy area along Mulligan Hill Road in Indiana County. An autopsy would later confirm that he had died from a gunshot wound, leading authorities to rule his death a homicide.
