Mark Ruff, a 59-year-old U.S. Army veteran, was tragically shot and killed on January 22, 2021, inside his apartment on the 9400 block of East Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia, PA. He was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound, and despite the efforts of medical personnel, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Alongside him, 43-year-old Nicole Newell, his girlfriend, was also found shot and killed.
