On April 27, 2021, Devonte Hunter, a 25-year-old Black male, was tragically killed in Philadelphia, PA. He was found inside a black Nissan Altima on the 6200 block of Ogontz Avenue at around 9:18 p.m. Responding officers discovered Hunter suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and immediately transported him to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead that evening.
