On May 15, 2021, Jose L. Bermudez, a 43-year-old man from Allentown, PA, was tragically shot and killed in the 100 block of North Hall Street. The incident occurred just after 10:30 p.m., and Bermudez was pronounced dead at 11:12 p.m. at a local hospital. The cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound, and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.
