Dwan Jenkins-Stanton, a 28-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on June 7, 2021, in Philadelphia, PA. He was one of two people shot inside a grocery store on the 1700 block of West Butler Street. When Philadelphia Police officers arrived at the scene at 5:33 p.m., they found Dwan inside the store, and despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
