Raqib Robbins, a 17-year-old male from Philadelphia, PA, was fatally shot on June 22, 2021. He was walking along the 1200 block of South 58th Street in the Kingsessing section of the city when he was shot in the head. Raqib was on his way to deliver a cell phone to his girlfriend at the time of the incident. Despite being rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries two hours later.
The suspect, caught on surveillance camera, was seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with a white design, light blue shorts with white and dark blue stripes, and gray athletic shoes. The City of Philadelphia has offered a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with Raqib's murder. The Philadelphia Police Department continues to investigate the case and urges anyone with information to come forward.
