David Pellegrino, a 37-year-old man from York, PA, tragically died on August 9, 2021, from a self-inflicted gunshot wound while driving on Route 30 in Hellam Township. The York County Coroner's Office determined his death to be a suicide. Pellegrino was a father of two and had recently started a job as a Manager of Process Mining at KPMG. He had also started his own business, BP All-Out of Balance on Purpose, earlier that year.
The reason behind his sudden decision to take his own life remains unknown.
Hellam Township Police investigated the incident but did not find any evidence of foul play. There were no arrests, suspects, or litigations related to his death. The investigation concluded that Pellegrino's death was a result of his own actions. The community and his family were left to mourn the loss of a loving husband, father, and son.
