Hanith Peay, a 24-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on September 12, 2021, in Philadelphia, PA. He was one of three victims in a triple shooting that occurred on the 5000 block of Germantown Avenue in the Germantown neighborhood. The incident took place around 3 p.m., when gunfire erupted, and Peay was shot twice in the head. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
