Eric Smith, a 22-year-old Black male from Philadelphia, PA, was tragically murdered on January 8, 2022. He was found lying in the street with a gunshot wound at around 12:52 a.m., and despite the efforts of medical personnel, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred in the 200 block of South Cecil Street. The Philadelphia Police Department has been investigating this unsolved case, urging anyone with information to come forward.
