In the early morning hours of February 12, 2022, a sense of unease settled over the 900 block of Ash Street in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. It was here that Terrell Green, a 41-year-old Black / African American man, found his life cut tragically short. Originally from Philadelphia, Green was a resident of Johnstown when he was shot multiple times around 3:20 a.m. The quiet of the morning was shattered by the violence, and despite being rushed to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, his injuries proved fatal. The Cambria County Coroner later confirmed that Green's death was a homicide, a result of the multiple gunshot wounds he sustained.
The Johnstown Police Department, in conjunction with the Cambria County District Attorney's office, immediately launched an intensive investigation into the killing. While authorities have remained tight-lipped about a specific motive, they have stated their belief that the shooting was not a random act of violence, suggesting that Green may have been targeted. The investigation has been described as aggressive, with law enforcement actively pursuing leads and urging members of the public to come forward with any information that might shed light on the events of that fateful morning.

Jasmine Dorsey, a 23-year-old woman from Johnstown, was taken into custody and charged with hindering the investigation. Authorities allege that Dorsey played a crucial role in the aftermath of the shooting by driving the individuals responsible for Green's death away from the scene. Her arrest marks a significant development in the case, though the primary suspects in the homicide are still at large. Dorsey was held on a $75,000 bail as the community continues to seek justice for the untimely death of Terrell Green.
