On a Sunday night in Pittsburgh's Homewood neighborhood, the life of Johnnie Lee Higgins, a 58-year-old male, was cut short by an act of violence. On March 13, 2022, at approximately 10 p.m., the sound of multiple gunshots pierced the night, triggering a ShotSpotter notification that drew police to Kedron Street.
