On the night of March 27, 2022, a 28-year-old Black male named Anthony Jamir Santangelo was at a Sunoco gas station on the 5600 block of Ridge Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when a hail of gunfire erupted. The violence of that moment left its mark on a gas pump, which was riddled with bullet holes.
